Jerry C's Collection-Shirts

I designed these bow-tie, for my annual dinner last year, and I wore one of them, the orange color, because that was the theme for the nite.
The green-colored suit, was actually designed by me, material picked by me, dark green, my favourite.
Actually, I have make this pair of suit first, before coming out with my bow tie, and at that time, I was not aware as yet that the dinner theme would be 'orange', haha, hence I came out with this orange bow-tie.

I was quite happy with this matching actually, and got a good comment from my team members and colleagues.
Oh yeah, I was matching that with a pair of almost the same, green colored shoes, from Massimo Dutti.

Jerry C's Collection

I was, last week, at my tailor's place, and was trying out a new casual vest that I have designed, and it will be ready in a few days. I went there for the fitting of this vest and another jacket which I have at the same time, designed, with the help of my tailor (not designer okay...). And while trying this, a guess, I think perhaps from Europe, was commenting on my best, and he said, it was nice, and I should sit in the shop helping the guests to design.. a compliment perhaps, haha.He said, you could become another Giorgio Armani (too late, perhaps. If I had studied fashion design before, may be I could be very famous by now, but somehow, I was born, in the part of the world, where there is no such thing as fashion designing as a form of 'proper profession', haha. That was already the past... but if one has the talent, age is a limiting factor, self-cheering huh).
A few weeks earlier, I was there trying to make a few pairs of pants, and I have almost the same compliment, this time, it came from two local Chinese guys I guess.

And then, the best thing is, the shop owner, Alice, mentioned to me, that every time I went to their shop and design some new clothes or shirts, then will eager waiting for the outcome, and take a look at all these before asking me to collect them. They are as curious as I am, hohoooooooh!!!
I will, from now onwards, when there is something nice and design by myself, I will share it here. But the problem is, it is a bit hard as I could not wear it and take the photo in front of the mirror (may be I should try that in near future, to see if that helps).

Thanks.

Louis Vuitton-Hopi Bag

I bought this Hopi sling back, if you are a fan of LV, you should know what Hopi is.
I love it when I first saw it in LV's website, and when my colleague was in Dusseldorf, he helped me to get one, and I think that was around Mid November 2009.So happy was I, waiting eagerly for me own X'mas present. But then, some how, may be I was not careful in using it, or I have overloaded it (since I do not have any information on the loading capacity of this, as it was not mentioned in the small booklet), and 4 months later, I found the part of the strap (look at the picture) for more idea of what the strap is), had begun to gave way, loosening up.
SO, no choice I have to send it to HK LV service centre (My friend devil in Taipei has helped to check with LV Taipei, and they said the best is to send to LV HK, as it would be faster to get this strap replaced or fixed). And that is almost close since I have sent to LV HK service centre, and yesterday, I got a call from LV customer service in HK, telling me that the strap has to be sent from LV in Paris. Good news and bad news. Good news is that, it has the attention from LV in Paris, and at least they care about quality and to make sure LV lives up to its reputation. Bad thing is I have to wait for another 3-4 months, and by the time I got my HOPI bag, it would be out of fashion. Oh gosh, sometimes, I do blame myself for choosing the wrong bag or may be I was not able to take a good care of this so 'delicate' bag?
And I am not sure how they are going to charge this, lets see how it goes. If it is too much, I will definitely send an official complaint to LV centre in Paris. Anyway, I would like to see how they settle this issue. If I do not feel satisfied, I will not buy any single LV bag anymore.

You know, in order to complement my Hopi, when I was in Munich in January, I complemented it with another purse/wallet, of the same leather type. Now, I do not know how to match this anymore.

And what Devils says could be right, time to change to another brand, and he proposes Hermes or Bottega Venetta, lets see.

Anyhow, I am, as I said in my earlier posting, looking back to Japanese brands, though not very popular, but quality is always guaranteed. I am now having my 3rd bag, from this brand known as Dan Genten (another posting later, for another collection).

I hope to get back my HOPI soon, and I hope LV can solve this problem soon, and I get a 'stronger' HOPI, cause I like this bad a lot.

My Favorite Gemstone-Peridot and Amethyst

One is my favorite gemstones, Peridot. I adore the green, I love this green. I wish, and if one day, I were to own and drive my BMW, it has to be in this green. Cool and amazing. Did they say, only the super intelligent type.
I got this stone in Myanmar (Burma) and according to the shop in Rangoon where I got this stone, he said this is originally from Myanmar, and it is getting lesser and lesser. So, this I like it a lot, and hope to make it into a ring or a pendant, hohohoho.

Next is my birthstone. They say the best Amethyst comes from Korea, but this one, a souvenier from a friend, came from Brazil, where they have lots of Amethyst too. They say, wearing an Amethyst will prevent alcohol intoxication. Frankly speaking, I do not like the purplish color so much, but being my Birthstone, I will keep one of this, under my private possession, haha.

Next, I have one Ruby which I like very much, though it is unlikely that I will wear this, as the color is too reddish. But it will be under my private possession for as long as I am alive.....I got this in Cambodia, a guy at I met at their traditional art market who insisted I should take that, and asked me to pay only a nominal sum, as he thinks the stone matches me...... Glad I took this, and with another sapphire gemstone and a 'heart-stone' which I will share in other posting later on.
The pics will be shared later.

Belts-Gucci and Hermes

Besides shoes, for a guy, or a professional guys, I think your belts are equally important. It helps to build your confidence, and it is like necessary ingredients or nutrients you must have in your fashion.

I quite like what I have with Gucci's until recently, I got one from Hermes.Price is doubled, but quality is nice. Anyway. one I got it in Korea, one in HK and for my latest Hermes, I got it in HK island. The outlet in HK airport is a bit limited in the choices they offer.

Take a look:

Home Furniture

Over the weekend, I went to search for some nicely designed, very much localised Chinese design. These furniture, one small cupboard, and one stable telephone table are actually made from peach tree wood, not too hard, but quite nice. And I just want to share this, as I think it looks quite nice. The ceramic table lamps are from Jingdezhen (景德镇) and the place I bought my furniture in Beijing is called 高碑店, about 40 minutes away from my house.
Those who have been to my apartment will see the difference from these pictures attached here.

Thanks.

Beams- Another Japanese Brand

Yeah, yeah, and yes yes yes, I have been very excited about my this new blogsite, that I have been writing non-stop until now, because I have many things to share, and I am slightly out of the season already (not out of fashion, haha), as we are moving to Summer months, whereas in Japan, it is still spring time.

To keep it short, Beams is another brand I like a lot, a Japanese brand. My Japanese friend says this is for younger generation, but do not care that much lah, as long as I wear it well and it fits me well, and as long as I can still pay the bill, haha.
Please go to the following website for more, http://www.beams.co.jp/en/index.html.
They change their designs very often, within weeks. So, it is like, now you see it, now you don't, which is also good, because you hardly see people wearing the same type in the city. Otherwise, kelam-kabut lah....

And it is very easy to pronounce, BEAMS, it glows..........haha.

Dan Genten-A New Leather Brand From Japan

Nowadays, I slowly begin paying attention to Japanese made bags. I used to have Takeo Kikuchi, and also Porter. But now, this brand really caught my attention. Please go to this link to see more http://www.kuipo.co.jp/english/brand_concept.html.
I am now the owner of two bags from this brand and pleased to share with you here:

And see how the wrap and pack for you. I like this, I think most branded shop will not pack it so well for you, esp. rainy days. But of course, there is a price to pay for everything you want, haha. But they really know how to satisfy customers:)

I am hoping to get another type of bag, a mixture of canvas and leather (which they are good at), a type of like knapsack type, a lighter version of that. I found it in my last trip, but the model I saw was a big too big for my body size, and the shop assistant says they will try to make a smaller model, hopefully I can get this in my next trip.

Ok for now, and happy analysing.

Neutrogena-Hand Cream

A colleague of mine introduced this to me. Again, because of dry skin, my fingers, usually the parts near my nails bleeds easily, esp. during cold winter months. And this cream really helps me a lot. But I find it a little bit oily, hence usually I will apply it only before sleeping time. Otherwise, you just feel not so comfortable when you first start using this. But it is very good cream, in my opinion. And so concentrated that you need only a small dosage.
Neutrogena is an American brand, and now part of J&J group.

Happy trying.

Loccitane-Facial Cream (Immortell Series)

Have been using this cream for quite sometime. Creamy, yet non-oily and I used it a lot during the winter months. And it helps my skin a lot, as I have a very dry skin, and this suits me wonderfully well. I am a frequent user now, but price does not really come cheap. Anyhow, it is very effective, and as we age, we need more moisturizer to help smooth-en and protect our skin from further damage. More skin care information later, and I have another cream which I think is also quite good, and only start using it recently.Try it out....

Shoes-This Season

Highheels, highheels, in the past only ladies have this type of shoes right? But now, for men, you have 5 inches, and I saw that in Osaka. But I think I cannot accept that for now, it is too tall, and I do not feel comfortable wearing that.

I have chosen these two types instead:
This one is from Katharine Hamnet which I got this from Osaka city.

This is another pair of shoes I got it in S'pore.I can't recall the brandname for now, so sorry, and the shopping mall I got this, but it is my favorite shopping place, Robinsons at Ochard Road.

Shirt-Key Ng

I started buying this brand since 2 years ago, design is mainly for slim-fit type. There are a few outlets I think, mainly with with Isetan, with their own brand-counter.
As I did not take any pictures of the pants I bought earlier, I can only share the latest for this summer which I bought when I was back in March, and started wearing this quite recently.
I heard from the sales person that they have new design every 1-2 months, so, in my next trip back, I am sure to visit again.
And when I wear this to office, my staff like it a lot, and some male colleagues are copying this design.
But anyway, I feel happy to bring this brand to Beijing, as Key Ng is our Malaysian designer if I remember it well.

Take a lot. As for price, reasonable range, but would like to disclose it here. What I like is the fabric, and you do not need much ironing, especially for my business traveling. Can wear it smart casual or with a tie, can be for business (but not for too formal type).

My New Blogsite

I have actually launched a blogsite with the same title, in wordpress and since I find it a bit hard to update and out of familiarity with blogspot, it is easier to write from here. I want to write everything about fashion, trends, things that I see and like, and would like share it here, nice hotels, etc. It depends on how much time I have and how much money I can spend to buy those stuffs (haha), and things that I see when I am out in different places and cities.

Fashion is an attitude.......I think.
Thanks.
