Oxford T-SHirts

The typical souvenier shirts, but the color and the sizes and cutting, I like them all, actually. I never like any thing of souvenier T-shirts until I see these, here, in Oxford University....

Jerry, The Glamorous....Haha.

The Body Shop

One piece of information to share here, all product range they offer in London are much cheaper in price compared to the what I usually bought in Penang, Malaysia. For some regular items, I am getting a few bottles here, but one cannot bring too many, can we as there are expiry dates to consider about:)

But there are simple too many Body Shops around, in shopping malls, in Railway stations, undergrounds...everywhere.

Diesel

I have been monitoring this brand for sometime, and learn to realise that the ones they sold in SEA market is a bit limited, possibly because of the price issue or purchasing power. And when I read some of the magazines in Beijing, I realised they have a lot more to offer, and I also noticed this during my visit to some malls in Japan, like Daimaru, it is a medium to high end casual wear, and their design is quite nice and up to date.
ANd I bought two this time in London, and they are much cheaper than what we have in Asia, like in Japan. And the cutting is superb. Have taken two pictures for you to take a look, or you can visit their websites. I think they are very much into tall, slim fit types. For your consideration and idea....

Cath-Kidston, London

Another brand to look at, and it is similar to what Naraya Thailand is doing, but different materials, design for sure, but I think the concept is similar.

I love the design but they are more for ladies, of if I live in Japan, then perhaps I will consider to use them.

London

Another new brand that I found interesting when I visit London. I thought it was very formal brand or too old for me, as it looks very 'uncle' type, when I visit the mall selling this brand, back in KL. But visiting the boutique here in London gives another view, a positive one on this brand. And the cutting was so nice and color was so interesting. This color, maroon if I am not wrong, is the popular color for this winter season......check it out.

My New Ceramic Collection-Butter Container

I have one already at Beijing apartment but made of Stainless steel and this one is from Ceramic. I got it from a local market when visiting Greenwhich, and I like this.
It costs 20 pounds, but I think it looks lovely. And the next time you come to my house in Beijing and having breakfast with me, you can see this piece for sure.

What do you think......

Paul Smith?

Paul Smith..........Do you know this brand well? Not for me, until I visited London this time with Devil.......and he is very much into this brand, a loyal customer..... And buying in Paul Smith's nice boutique is another story totally.

A brand that I have not been very much into, until Kevin, my friend introduced that to me, as he is one of the biggest fans of this brand. But in the boutique shop they have at Covent Street, things are really different. They have many wide range of selections. And shopping during Christmas time is fun, nice and enjoyable, though it is 'taxing' on the pocket.....haha!

The yellow bag, which I think is beautiful, is not bought by me, but by Kevin. It is a leather, and price is reasonable (you can give a wild guess), and I like the yellow......it is so attractive and looks Young. I told Kevin if he dares to take it out, then it would be even more beautiful. ANd he said, tried me not.....

The scarf.......with the standard, the stripes....

And ladies and gentlemen, this is my first selection of Paul Smith's.....a hat, and very much English...albeit a modernised version. I like it, so, see if I wear this next during CNY in Malaysia. and it fits well, feel so light, probably because of the material they used. And before that, honestly speaking, I didn't realise that Paul Smith makes hat.........a nice one indeed. And they have more varieties that I could not find the time to write more until the next time.....the story to continue.

My new hat, spot this will you. My most expensive hat to date, but not going to let you know how much it costed...a guess.

Thanks to Devil for introducing this brand to me.

My Hapy and now, my Sasha

Remember, I used to own a LV-Hapy range, and I have written about the quality of the shoulder straps. And after waiting for close to 6 months, managing to find some time to stop by at HK, I manage to change to this new Shasha.
Take a look:

LV-SHasha, Grey color.

I used this in my Cheju outings, please take a look.

A New Bag-Sommes Saddle

Soft skin texture, but I like this color, and very rarely you have this color for guys

I use this bag when I visited Kyeongju, got a few praises from colleagues. But I like it more now, it is beginning to have the 'seasoned' feeling.

ANd the price, probably 5 times cheaper than those branded goods.

Nite from Shilla hotel, Cheju Island.

Scarf-From The Suit Company (100% Wool)

And look at this new scarf, I like it, the color and the texture. Nice to wear and keeps me fully warm up.

I wear this and see it this matches me? haha:)

The Winter Jacket, Ralph Lauren

I have been looking for one of these last year. I saw one at Salvatore Ferragamo, at Tokyo airport and I got this in Munich airport this year. I like it, because of its color (Olive green), and very light. Nice to wear during early winter, and have been wearing since for close to two months.

Jerry C

The New Sweater-The Suit Company

I have bought for sometime and have been wearing this.
This year, if you can see, the size is smaller, the cutting is neater, more of slim-fit type and short, waist length. Nice when we wear it together with tight jeans.
And this is purple color, very striking type.

Cole Haan-The Gloves

Have not been updating my fashion site for too long, too busy and not having much time to update here.

Here you are. Bought this in SF with Joyce, and have been using for a while, and I think it is good. Nice to wear and texture is nice, and it does not smell "leather".

Hermes-New Scaff

Always wanted this, and here you are:

OK, I know a lot of people do not like this color, but I like it, especially when you use in early Autumn with Dark Blue colored Jacket.

The Glamourous J

Hermes Bag-Autumn Series

Manage to get this latest luggage for men, at Munich airport (the only stop I have before going back to Beijing).
I like this bag because of its unique design (mainly of the design for sure), but later when I took it home, I have some regrets because I think it is not easy to handle, and not easy to use. This is my concern....haha, that is why I said that sometimes, environment we are in can influence us whether to or not to buy some stuffs.......!
In terms of price, I guess it should be a worth buy, Kevin, if you have the chance please help to check this out. My be this is another consolation for me......haha.
But later on, when I take another look into it, I think it is nice though...human being, human mind, they are too complicated. What say you.....

The Glamorous J

Made In USA-Cole Haan

Since I have safely landed in San Francisco and I would like to explore more American brands.
This is one shoe that I would like to consider and buy, later, when I have the time.

Not sure what the price would be, but from Internet, it was mentioned as USD 395.

Will update accordingly.

The Glamorous J

Branded Goods....Boutiques

Have any of us found out tha most of the websites are not updated or not having the lastest range of products, or not having the full range of products, until you visit the respective boutiques, esp. in European cities (probably in Asia, the best still would be Tokyo and Hongkong)? I wonder why?

And sometimes, fashion magazines give more clues and updates compared to these websites. May be I missed this out or I do not search that properly, could have missed out some. But just try it out, and let me know. Just visit a few, like Hermes, like Louis Vuitton, like Bottega Venetta,.......

And I have also learnt a lesson here, as when you visit a boutiques, you tend to make a 'impromptu decision' or the environment you are in, coupled with the experienced sales staff, might have the influence in the purchasing of your goods, irrespective whether it is ideal or otherwise. Hence, for one, when shopping in these boutiques, must make sure that some researches have been done in advance, or know what one wants clearly, or must use a lot of common sense in decising to buy one. But when it comes to luxuries, does common sense makes sense anymore? Haha, that is the question I asked myself.

Autumn Updates

Oh dear dear dear, I miss my "The Glamourous Jerry" a lot. I 'failed' in the sense of not being to give a fast update, though this is not something I wanted to happen, neither was it because of my tight schedule. When it comes to fashion, you will find time for that, because these are the things you like, you talk about, and you have fond of. Hence, I really hope to write more, esp. as Joyce said, I have plenty of time in the country where Google originates, haha. So, lets keep my finger crossed, and more to come, I promise you.

THe Glamours J, Incheon, Seoul.

P/S- I bought a Winter jacket from Ralph Lauren, olive green, I have been searching for this since last year, now I found it.
And another jacket on my list is the Burberry leather jacket, Black. Tried on this in Munich airport, but the size was too big for me. I love that jacket.

ANyway, will share more when I have the chance to do so.

Autumn-Jackets

Here are two jackets that I manage to get 3 weeks back in Tokyo, from The SUits company. Sorry, not time to update and lots more to update, but simple no time to do so. But more will come, when I can find the time to do so.

AUtumn is coming and I am excited, it means new clothing, haha. That's the fun of that, though winter could be sometimes very 'torturous.

My New Belt-Orobianco (Midori color)

This is a brand that I am not sure where it is from, but from what I know, the material could have been imported from Italy, and the belt designed and made in Japan.
I like this green color, and today I wore this for the first time. Goh-San and his wife noticed that, and they know I like green.

I got this in Daimaru, and though this is expensive place, I think the belt is still of reasonable pricing, and began to doubt myself why I bought Gucci's (I have 3 as share in this blogsite before, except my Hermes'). I will continue exploring more belts in my next visit to Japan, in Daimaru's store the next time. I think they have plenty to offer.........!

Green in Japanese is read as MIDORI.............

Shirts From H&M, Ginza

Not sure if you can find these in HK and other H&M outlets, but since I do not shop in Beijing or in China and did not check it out, I got these few when I stop by at H&M at Ginza store, Japan.

I like this color

I like the cutting and the material used

I need this one, cause I do not have a black-colored shirt as yet

By the way, they have started selling Autumn's fashion now, and I got one, just to share it here:

Shopping-Autumn 2010

Autumn is coming, and planning for Autumn 2010............Non-stop. I think if JY is cheaper, it could be even better. I cannot help myself with bags...people can be addicted to sex, may be, but I am think I am addicted to buying bags........And I think Japanese made and designed bags are very nice (And sometimes I wonder why most of them do not use or consider to use them:

Went to Daimaru and The Suit.

I like this bag, and felt in love when I saw this (made in Japan, Deux Monx-Genuine Artisan made, Matsuzaki). I think it looks so cool, and very matching between black leather and inner lining of read color. Take a look here.

More to come later...

Small Bag For my laptop

Too long I have not updated my Glamorous Jerry here, because I did not really go for more shopping and some articles I do not want to update here, but recently too many issues (if you read from my Luahhanku blogsite, and traveling a lot, and without much shopping, then nothing much to write).

Today, while shopping around, I found the laptop bag at 无印良品, price is reasonable at JY 1890. Kindly take a look here:

Immortel-Loccitane Divine Cream

Saw the advertisement of this for quite sometime, but finally bought one bottle a few months back, and start using this like, say 2-3 months back and now becomes more regular.
Seems like my skin texture looks a little bit different, smoother, and looks a bit refreshing even though it is still to early to comment furthe

I like the smell of the natural oil, and when you apply on your face at nite time, after massaging it for a while on your face, the the oil will sort of vaporised and the aroma that comes with it, is refreshing.

Try that out, it you have the chance. I am not sure of the market price but I bought it, from In-flight sales (Cathay pacific) if I am not wrong, costing HKD 800 per bottle.

Happy trying..........

Le Creuset

I am not sure if you know this brand, it is French.
I come across this when I was in S'pore (of course we had similar material, iron casted cook ware in those olden days, hence this reminds me of that), that was one reason why I got this. Some like those cow-boy movies that you have seen, and they used these for cooking, rather cool.
In general, it looks something like this, or you can visit their website as follows:
http://www.lecreuset.co.uk/Product-Range-uk/Product-Overview/

I asked my friend, Cheesoon when he came over to my place to get one for me. The one I have looks a little bit pale in comparison (in terms of color), but I think it looks solid (as Cheesoon mentioned).

It is not cheap though, with special offer, it comes close to SGD 300, and luckily Cheeson managed to find this for me. I just love using this, it is solid, heavy and when you cook, it just feel so good. I do not know, but you can just feel it.
And you can see from the fried rice that I did, it was less oily, and can still keep warm for some time (sort of like energy saving) and nowadays, I use this more often than other cookware that I have. For the price, it is worth it baby....So, that is why I recommend this under "the glamourous Jerry bogsite). Happy trying.

P/S-Since I am helping Le Creuset to do advertising here, I should at least come to my blogsite and say thank you:).
